About Us

for the Love Of Bocce

We believe that spirited competition fosters the best kind of camaraderie among friends, family and colleagues. Lob was inspired by outdoor games of bocce - in the yard, at the park, or at a cottage – places where Mother Nature puts ‘conventional’ bocce-ball through the wringer.

9 Tracks

Lob features a 9-Track bocce-golf course, plus an 80-seat Restaurant/Bar – Track 10. Drink and snacks are also provided during gameplay.

The game and venue are wheelchair accessible. With large-screen tv’s dispersed throughout, groups can stay tuned to the other big games being played in the sports world.

Wi-Fi at Lob covers every square foot of the space. However, guests on the course are encouraged to keep phones in their pockets a little longer than normal. Call it Lob etiquette.

Shout out to Ball

Unlike traditional bocce balls, Lob balls were designed for easy, comfortable handling – while staying true to a traditional bocce ball’s size and weight.

  • Is Lob wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Lob was designed to be fully accessible. The path that connects the 9 Tracks is wheelchair friendly, as are the slightly elevated Lob Zone areas. Wheelchaired guests are asked to enter Lob via the main entrance of 100 Broadview, following the ramp down to lower level hallway to our entrance.
  • Can I just come eat, without playing?
Yes but our policy still requires hat all guests pay the game fee of $20. It's a fun game try it.
  • Is there an age minimum to play?
This is a trick question. Technically, no, come one, come all. Practically, we recommend that children be at least 10 years-old. Players 13 and younger should have an adult in their group.
  • Do you have WiFi?
Of course – and we can help set you up upon arrival. However, we strongly encourage that phone usage be kept to a minimum. Respect the game. Enjoy the moment.
  • Can we bring in outside food?
With the exception of birthday cakes, no outside food is permitted. Concerned about what’s on our menu? Or what isn’t? Please let us know, and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate.
  • Is your menu allergy friendly?
Every member of our kitchen and service staff is trained to ensure that guests with allergy concerns have a worry-free dining experience. Our kitchen has rigorous allergy controls and protocols. Tell our staff what your concerns are, and we’ll earn your trust.
  • What are your hours?
Lob is open on Tuesdays 5pm - 10:30 pm, Wednesdays, Thursdays & 2pm - 10:30 pm Fridays 2pm – 12am, and Saturdays 12pm - 12am. We are available for private bookings on Sundays and Mondays.
  • Can you host large groups?
Yes. In many ways, Lob was purpose-built for larger parties. Think shot-gun starts across all 9 Tracks. Think tournament leaderboard. Think curated menu and music to suit the occasion. Think Lob. Check out our group events page for more info
  • Is there parking?
While there is street parking and a few smaller outdoor public lots in the area, we strongly encourage other modes of transit.
  • Is there a dress code?
No, but we strongly encourage comfortable footwear (no heels). And formal clothes are discouraged. Lob is leisure. Let’s get comfortable.
  • How long does it take to play a round?
The time to play a round can depend on several factors, but 45 minutes is a rough guide.
  • Can we bring in our own birthday cake? Is there a fee?
You are welcome to bring in your own cake for a special occasion. A $10 cake cutting fee does apply.
